Sharks Welcome Thompson to 2017-18 Team

LEMON

Head coach LeAnn Freeland-Curry and the Nova Southeastern women’s basketball team continues to build its 2017-18 squad with the addition of 5-8 guard MiKayla Thompson. Thompson, a junior transfer from Southeastern Illinois College, will be the eighth signee for the upcoming season, joining former teammate Bree Matthews.

“Mikayla is a versatile team player who fills up the stat sheet in every category,” boasted Freeland-Curry. “Offensively, she can knock down 3’s, get to the rim and create shots for her teammates. Defensively, she can guard any position and makes a lot of plays off the ball.” FULL RELEASE
