Sharks Sweep SSC Swimmer of the Week Awards

Nova Southeastern cleaned house Monday as Marco Aldabe and Malin Westman captured both Sunshine State Conference Swimmer of the Week honors, announced by the league office this afternoon.
Aldabe helped lead the NSU men’s swim team to a convincing 161-127 win against Indian River on Friday, marking the second straight win for the Sharks over the Patriots in as many weeks. Westman, on the other hand, guided the Sharks to a 1-1 split at the Florida International Tri-Meet last Friday. Although the Sharks lost to NCAA Division I and No. 27 FIU 159-121, they earned a dominating win against Indian River 190-96.
