Sharks Sign Local Standout, Skyla Osceola, for 2017-18 Basketball Season
The Nova Southeastern women’s basketball team and head coach LeAnn Freeland-Curry have announced their second fall signee for the 2017-18 season with American Heritage guard, Skyla Osceola.
The 5-8 guard was named All-Broward County Honorable Mention during her sophomore season and sat out her junior season due to injury. Through the first five games this season, Osceola helped lead American Heritage to a 5-0 start averaging 14.5 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent from the three-point line. Her team recently won the Naples Barron Tournament, where she was named to the All-Tournament Team.
