Sharks Participate in Race for the Cure Breast Cancer Walk

NSU-Sharks For the Cure 2015 Breast Cancer Race Collaboration 2

NSU’s Palm Beach Campus’ Sharks for the Cure team participates in Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

A team of staff and students from NSU’s Palm Beach Campus participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown West Palm Beach.

Headed by Stefanie La Manna, Ph.D., ARNP, FNP-C and Jessica Granata, ARNP, FNP-C from the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) program in NSU’s College of Nursing, the Sharks for the Cure team was a collaboration effort with members from NSU Palm Beach Campus’s Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, and ARNP programs.

As a breast cancer survivor and ARNP student at NSU, Kelly Stars was a special part of the Sharks for the Cure team. Diagnosed last year, Kelly underwent chemo and radiation and is now cancer free!
