Sharks Participate in Career and Graduate School Expo
Nova Southeastern University’s student-athletes recently took part in the university’s annual Career and Graduate School Expo on Wednesday, Sept. 30 in the Don Taft University Center.
The Career and Graduate School Expo housed over 80 employers and graduate school representatives in attendance to meet with students focusing on career development. Employers included Florida Blue, Citrix Systems and the Miami Marlins, while graduate schools included FIU, University of South Florida and several colleges within NSU.
“I am searching for a second internship and was very excited to meet with so many different employers and explore various options that are available to me,” said multiple-sport athlete Quannisha Allen (Sr., St. Augustine, Fla.). “I really enjoyed the expo and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for an internship, job or looking into grad school.”
“The Career and Grad School Expo was a great experience for me,” said men’s soccer senior Karl Enarsson (Gothenburg, Sweden). “I am graduating from NSU in December and the expo gave me the opportunity to meet with many potential employers. I am looking forward to following-up with a number of businesses.”
