SHSS Student Participates in Symposium
The symposium was titled “Who We Are & How We Came to Be: Perspectives on Our Origin” and was held at FAU’s Boca Raton campus.
SHSS Dean Presents at Conference in Kentucky
Yang’s presentation was titled “Initiating New Academic Programs.” SHSS was a co-sponsor of the conference.
Law Faculty Present at Conference on Culture, Race and Class
Four NSU law professors participated in the 2009 Southeast/Southwest People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference held March 26-28, 2009.
Business Student and Professors Coauthor Article on Ethics
William C. Campbell, a doctoral student at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship specializing in public administration, coauthored a paper with three NSU professors.
Pharmacy Student Appointed to Executive Committee of National Organization
Melissa A. Ortega, a Pharm.D. candidate in the class of 2010 at NSU’s College of Pharmacy, was recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the ASHP PSF.
Oceanographic Students Awarded for Presentations at Fisheries Society Meeting
Students from the Oceanographic Center and research scientist David Kerstetter, Ph.D., attended the annual meeting for the Florida Chapter of the American Fisheries Society.
