The Shark Shuffle is BACK – Raising Dollars for Active Scholars
NSU’s Annual 5K Run/Walk will take place – Sunday, Oct. 9:
7:30 a.m. 5K Run/Fitness Walk; 8:45 a.m. Awards Ceremony
Sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and Collegiate Risk Management, the Shark Shuffle is designed to promote health and wellness among the NSU community.
Location
Carl DeSantis Building on the NSU main campus, directly across from the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center.
Course
The 5K Run (3.1 miles) is a USATF-Certified Course (#FL08029EBM).
Entry Fees
NSU or USchool students/employees/alumni/family: $12
Community early registration: $20/Community on-site registration: $25
Packet Pickup
Come to the front desk of the RecPlex in the Don Taft University Center on Oct. 6 and 7.
Online Registration
Preregister online at www.rec.nova.edu until Oct. 4 at 11:55 p.m.
On-site Registration
Register on-site on race day from 6:00 to 7:15 a.m. inside the Carl DeSantis Building.
NSU students, who participate either as runners or walkers, are eligible to enter a random drawing to win one of more than 25 Deans’ $500 Active Scholar prizes.
Participating University School students are eligible to win one of several Headmaster’s $100 Active Scholar prizes.

Restrictions
Headphones, earbuds, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, and roller skates are not permitted on the 5k Run/Walk race course.
