“Shark Advantage” to Help Students Swim into Job Market, March 31
Several student organizations and NSU’s Career Development are joining forces on Thursday, March 31, to host “Shark Advantage: A Networking Event” to give students the opportunity to learn more about internship and career opportunities with South Florida companies. The event will be held in the Huizenga Sales Institute at the DeSantis building from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The goal, according to Corey Levine, president of the Student Entrepreneurs’ Association, is to bring top level executives from companies like City Furniture, NCL Cruise Lines and Kauffman & Rossin together with our students in an informal atmosphere. NSU alumni who are interested in providing positions for NSU students also will participate.
Students are asked to come in business attire to make their best possible impression and to bring business cards rather than resumes. Participants have been asked to register at http://goo.gl/forms/64cEzLGCZU. For more information, contact SharkAdvantage@gmail.com or es1202@nova.edu.
Other student organizations involved include: Collegiate DECA, EFA, BSSA, Alpha Kapp Psi and the Accounting Club
