Shakespearean Music, Sonnets Meet for One Night Only in Renaissance and Juliet, Apr. 12

On Apr. 12, the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts will present a Premier Series production titled Renaissance and Juliet: An Evening of Drama and Music. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m., in the Performance Theatre of the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing in the Don Taft University Center.

Renaissance and Juliet is a mingling of madrigals, love, and the sonnets and monologues of Shakespeare. The Bossa Nova Chorale and faculty orators from the college will join forces for an evening of chivalric music and Shakespearian texts.

Admission to this production is free, but tickets are required. To reserve seats, call 954-262-8179 or email nsutheatre@nova.edu.

Each year, the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts presents outstanding theatrical, musical, and dance productions. These performances serve as co-curricular opportunities for students to gain practical experience, and provide the NSU community with a local resource for educational and entertaining performing arts presentations.
