School of Criminal Justice Doctoral Student Promoted to Sergeant, Authoring Book

Adam Wilson

Adam Wilson, doctoral student, at NSU’s School of Criminal Justice, was recently promoted to Sergeant of the Gastonia Police Department (North Carolina).

Adam is a North Carolina Police veteran of 14 years. He’s currently authoring a book, TACTICAL RELOAD, Mindset Shifts for the Next Generation of Law Enforcement Leaders, and is beta testing a Sergeant Exam Testing app. The app will allow an individual to take multiple sergeant tests, as well as flashcards, in preparation for the promotional test.

Last year, he was honored at the National Association of Police Officers (NAPO) awards ceremony with for producing the top investigation in North Carolina.
