Get your nominations in for the 13th Annual STUEYS – Deadline Jan. 20
The 13th Annual Student Life Achievement Awards will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center on NSU’s main campus.
The Student Life Achievement Awards, affectionately known as the “STUEYS,” is an annual celebration of NSU’s best in scholarship, leadership, involvement, service, commitment, integrity, and inclusion.
Every NSU student, staff member, and faculty member is eligible for nomination. The nomination season is from Nov. 1 to Jan. 20 of each academic year. Each nominee is selected by the Student Life Achievement Awards nominating committee composed of cross-functional professionals from NSU’s colleges, centers, schools, and departments. The Student of the Year* nominees are selected by the participating academic deans of NSU’s centers, colleges, and schools.
CATEGORY REVIEW:
a. Student of the Year* – Each College, Center, or School can nominate ONE Student of the Year
b. Executive of the Year – Nomination of any Dean (Assistant and Associate Deans included), Executive Directors, and Vice President (Assistant and Associate Vice Presidents included)
c. Administrator of the Year – Nomination of any Director, Assistant Director, Adviser, Manager or Coordinator
d. Staff Person of the Year – Nomination of any clerical and administrative support staff members
e. Student Government of the Year – Nomination of any student government association university-wide including SGAs at the Student Educational Centers
f. Graduate Organization of the Year – Nomination of any club or student organization within any and all of the graduate programs, excluding student government associations
g. Undergraduate Organization of the Year – Nomination of any club or student organization at the undergraduate level, excluding USGA
h. Athletic Team of the Year
i. Corporate Partner of the Year – Nomination of any of NSU’s Corporate Partners
j. Professor of the Year – Nomination of any full-time professor for any academic program
k. Co-Curricular Adviser of the Year – Nomination of any co-curricular adviser for any of the co-curricular organizations university-wide
l. Alumnus of the Year – Nomination of any NSU alumnus (the nominees has to have graduated from NSU)
m. SEC Student of the Year – Nominations of any student who attends NSU through one of its Student Educational Centers.
