Safe Zones Training to become LGBT Allies, Oct. 11

The ONE NSU Inclusion and Diversity Council; College of Health Care Sciences & College of Nursing  Multicultural Affairs Committee; and the Diversity Dialogues will sponsor Safe Zones Training which will train NSU students, faculty and staff  to be  LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) Allies. Participants will learn more about who lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people are and how they can support and affirm them at school, work and in their communities.

The training will be held on Friday, Oct. 11 – National Coming Out Day – from noon to 1:00 pm in the Carl DeSantis Building, Knight Auditorium.
