RSVP Now to Attend NSU’s 2011 Faculty Reception & Ben Franklin Exhibit Opening, Oct. 4
NSU faculty members are invited to attend the 10th Annual Faculty Reception, hosted by NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library on Oct. 4 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the library’s Second Floor Gallery.
This is a chance to mingle with colleagues from throughout the university, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and celebrating the start of the new academic year. As a special treat, members of the “Red Vest Society” will be mixing, shaking and stirring drinks. Be on the lookout for these NSU VIPs, who will create custom beverage mixes just for you!
History buffs are also in for a rare treat, as the reception is also the opening of “Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World”. The traveling exhibition is based on an exhibit organized by the Benjamin Franklin Tercentenary to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Franklin’s birth.
Faculty Reception door prizes also include several Nook Color tablet readers with Wi-Fi, donated by Barnes & Noble, which will be offered in the drawing.
