Rowing Team Wins Varsity-4 at First Coast Head Race

The NSU rowing team won the varsity-4 championship at the First Coast Head Race Saturday. Five boats competed in Jacksonville’s annual regatta. The V4 A boat took the win with a time of 18:48.07. The boat was over 30 seconds faster than any other boat from a rival school. The Sharks went back-to-back at the finish line, with the B boat taking second with a time of 19:03.81. The NSU V4 A boat was made up of: coxswain Courtney Berger , Stephanie Hauck , Megan O’Donnell , Kristen Page and Bethany Warlich.
