Rowing Captures Second SSC Boat of the Week Honors

The Nova Southeastern varsity eight has picked up their second Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week honor of the spring.

In a head-to-head battle against SSC foe Barry, the NSU eight edged out the Buccaneers by .04 seconds in a photo finish. The NSU boat clocked a time of 8:14.70 to Barry’s mark of 8:14.74. Earning the victory were coxswain Caroline Kelly (So., Seaville, N.J.), Camille Evans (Fr., Orlando, Fla.), Lauren Boudreau (Jr., Waterford, N.Y.), Kelly Scott (Fr., Hobe Sound, Fla.), Victoria Ciccone (So., Brigantine, N.J.), Megan O’Donnell (Fr., Lake Worth, Fla.), Jessica Sutter (Sr., Key Largo, Fla.), Taylor Van Horn (So., Cape Coral, Fla.), and Mallorie Reinecke (Jr., East Amherst, N.Y.).
