Rowing Captures SSC Boat of the Week Accolades
The Nova Southeastern varsity eight boat has been selected as the Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week for Mar. 19, as announced by the conference office last week.
The NSU varsity eight posted a time of 6:58.9 to win flight No. 3 of the eight races held as part of Florida Tech’s Governor’s Cup. In a total of five varsity eight races, pitting teams from Florida Tech, NSU, Emory, Barry and Columbia in head-to-head competition, the Sharks’ time was the third fastest of the day, surpassed only by the Columbia boats.
