Rowing Announces Fall Schedule

The Nova Southeastern University rowing head coach Heather Barney has released the fall 2015 schedule, with the Sharks set to compete three times.

NSU will be looking to claim the NCAA National Championship in the spring of 2016 under the supervision of second-year head coach Heather Barney and assistant coach Devin Fay. The journey to Nationals will begin on Oct. 3, when NSU travels to Orlando, Florida for a scrimmage against Central Florida and Jacksonville.

This season the Sharks have added one new event to their fall schedule to help them prepare for the arduous 2016 spring season races. NSU’s rowing team will travel to Boston to participate in the Head of Charles Regatta on Oct. 17.

Following the Head of Charles Regatta, the Sharks will race in the Stetson Fall Rowing Rendezvous on Nov. 14. The meet will be held on Lake Beresford and St. Johns River in Deland, Florida.
