Rock Out Loud to End Hate Crimes on Apr. 6
Join Indie Rock band “Es Oh” on the south lawn of the Shepard Broad Law Center on Apr. 6 for a benefit concert to raise funds to end hate crimes. Sponsored by NSU’s LAMBDA United chapter, the event is free and open to the public; food will be served in exchange for donations for the cause.

Es Oh will be joined by John Adornato, Oakland Park City Commissioner, who will speak about his experiences with hate crimes and the effects they have on individuals and the community at large. Judge Lisa Porter, Broward County 17th Judicial Circuit, will also be in attendance.

“We can all help reduce the number of hate crimes by speaking out against these heinous acts and educating people in our sphere of influence,” said Martavis T. Clarke, J.D. Candidate, 2012, vice-president & treasurer of the Shepard Broad Law Center’s LAMBDA United chapter.
LAMBDA United is committed to educating the public on hate crimes with the hope of ending abuse. If rumors can be dispelled and the ignorance eradicated the discrimination can cease to exist.
