Robotics Team WINS the Florida State Championship!

Robotics Team WINS the Florida State Championship!

The University School Robotics Team is currently ranked as the NUMBER ONE Robotics Team in the state of Florida! The hundreds of hours devoted by the team members to create their award winning robots have resulted in students who excel in the areas of design, electrical engineering, and coding while using creativity and critical thinking to problem solve. Students designed, built, and programed robots to complete challenging tasks with the object to attain the highest score among all opposing teams.

Team members Charlie Rash, Ariel Desler, Felix Lichter, Zachary Lieberman, Alexander Lotz, Michael Magram, David Skaff, Garrett Stocksdale, and Jeremy Wong are now preparing for the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, KY April 15-19. Out of an initial 12,000 teams from thirty different countries, only 400 were invited to the World Championship. Congratulations to all team members, head coach Erik Weidenboerner, and assistant coach Matthew Munro.
