Nova Southeastern women’s basketball player Danielle Robinson (Fr., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) has been selected to the Women’s Division-II Bulletin All-America Freshman team, as announced in the Bulletin’s April 2012 newsletter.

Robinson, who was already selected as the Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year, was the only conference player selected to the all-freshmen team. Fellow SSC member Michaela Hawley of Florida Southern was selected as a Second-Team All-American, while Briaunna Hagins of Florida Tech garnered honorable mention accolades.

“Our coaching staff and our players are excited to hear that Danielle was recognized as a member of the Women’s Division-II Bulletin All-American Freshmen team,” commented head coach LeAnn Freeland. “She is very deserving of the recognition due to her team-first mentality and work ethic. Hard work certainly has already paid off for Danielle early in her career and we look forward to watching her grow over the next three years.”
