Roberts Named SSC Baseball Player of the Week
Rhys Roberts, SSC baseball player of the week
NSU third baseman Rhys Roberts was named the Sunshine State Conference baseball player of the week, as announced by the SSC on Apr. 12.
Roberts batted .588 with five RBI and six runs as the Sharks went 2-2 on the week. Posting a 1.176 slugging percentage, Roberts belted four doubles and two home runs. He hit safely in all four contests and tallied multiple hits in three games. In an SSC series at Barry, Roberts was an impressive 9-for-13 (.692) with at least one extra-base hit in each contest. For the week, he posted a .611 OBP and 1.000 fielding percentage.
