Rio’s Carnaval Comes to NSU! Ars Flores to Present Fiesta Concert, March 22
Lose yourself in a mix of rhythmic styles, from bossa nova to tango, as the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra presents a musical fiesta!

Part of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Resident Series, Fiesta Carnaval! celebrates the Brazilian and Latin Heritage in the spirit of Carnaval. The concert will feature collaborations with the award-winning group Brazilian Voices and the South Beach Chamber Ensemble, performing a variety of classical and popular styles sure to make you move!
Free Fun for Little Ones
On the morning of the concert, Ars Flores will also offer Music for Munchkins: a free, 30-minute mini-event geared toward children and their families.

Connecting with the Community Through Art
The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences partners with Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra to further connect campus and community creative resources. NSU’s orchestra in residence is a unique orchestra with professional, conservatory, college, and gifted high school students performing side by side. Ars Flores gives students a rare opportunity to rehearse and perform with talented professional musicians, all of whom hold at least one degree in music.
