Ring in “The Year of the Rabbit” at FREE Chinese New Year Celebration at NSU’s Library – Feb. 27
Enjoy the dawning of the Year of the Rabbit and extend your celebration of the Chinese New Year with a cultural showcase at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library.
The Feb. 27 festivities are presented by the Palm Beach Chinese Performing Arts Group and the Chinese Association of Science, Education, and Culture.
From 2 – 4 p.m., the groups will perform Chinese folk dance and songs, play traditional instrumental numbers, and demonstrate Chinese Tai Chi Fist, Mu Lan Fan, Peking Opera and more.
This event for all ages is FREE and open to the public. It will take place in the Alvin Sherman Library, which is located on NSU’s main campus at 3301 College Ave. in Davie.
