See Marine Artist Guy Harvey’s “Old Man and the Sea” Artwork in NSU’s Library Gallery thru end of June
Original artwork by noted marine wildlife artist and conservationist Guy Harvey is on display now through June 30 in the Second Floor Gallery of NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center.
The exhibit, Guy Harvey: An Exhibit of Watercolors and Drawings, features 59 original drawings, watercolors, prints and paintings, including 44 pen and ink drawings Harvey created in 1985 to illustrate Ernest Hemingway’s classic novel The Old Man and the Sea.
This collection has been lent to NSU by Guy Harvey collectors Dave and Cheryl Copham, along with a set of prints owned by NSU’s Oceanographic Center.
Guy Harvey: An Exhibit of Watercolors and Drawings is FREE and open to the public at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library during the following hours:
- Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
