Remembering National Autism Awareness Day

(L-R) Charles Keller, Tracey-Ann Spencer, Nicola DeHart, Jennifer Ramos, George L. Hanbury II, Jacqueline Travisano, Julie Batista, Eli Mizrahi and Marisabine Unzaga.

Several of NSU’s employees and students supported National Autism Awareness Day on Tuesday, April 2 by wearing blue.

New data from Center for Disease Control and Prevention Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network show that the estimated number of children identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) continues to rise, and the picture of ASD in communities has changed.

Please continue to support and celebrate Autism Awareness Month throughout the month of April.
