Relief Drive to Help Combat Cholera in Haiti
NSU’s Health Professions Division (HPD) is collecting nonperishable goods to help the people of Haiti fight the recent cholera outbreak that has claimed more than 1,300 lives.
The items needed are:
• Rehydration drinks with electrolytes (Gatorade, Powerade, etc)
• Canned meats: sausages, ham, tuna, sardines, oysters, canned fishes
• Canned milk: evaporated, condensed and soy
• Sanitation products: antiseptic wipes, rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer.
