Regoli Named NCBWA National Player of the Week
Areo Regoli
Nova Southeastern centerfielder Areo Regoli (Sr., Homestead, Fla.) has earned the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s Player of the Week award for his performance in games against Palm Beach Atlantic and Eckerd.
Regoli was honored after he batted .562 with eight runs and 10 RBI to lead the Sharks to a 3-1 weekly mark, including a conference series win over Eckerd. Posting a .600 OBP, Regoli hit safely in each game and tallied multiple hits in three. He amassed a 1.500 slugging percentage with five home runs.
