Realizing Potential – Fins Up for Volunteering!
National Volunteer Week offers the perfect opportunity to make a surprise phone call, send a thank you note, post a special message, or allow yourself to reflect back on the lives you have changed by freely offering your time and talent.
Here at NSU, we are grateful for all the volunteers performing good works on and beyond the university’s campuses. Our student volunteers perform approximately 12,000 hours of community service each year with the guidance of dedicated faculty and staff members. NSU’s 28 Trustees and 4 ex officio members voluntarily oversee the overall direction and management of our university. Hundreds of other community members serve as valuable volunteer resources to our deans. Countless alumni serve as mentors, speakers, and allies. And 28 community leaders recently signed on to help ignite support for Realizing Potential – The Campaign for Nova Southeastern University.
When you choose to volunteer, you not only make a choice about the kind of community you want to live in, you impact lives on a very real and personal level.
To all of our volunteers – we offer a resounding FINS UP!!
