NSU believes in Community. Members of the NSU College of Pharmacy’s Beta Lambda chapter of the Phi Delta Chi professional pharmacy fraternity volunteered for the Back to School Family Health Fair at Lauderdale Manors Early Learning and Family resources on August 1, 2015.

The Health Fair assisted more 130 participants in free vision testing, hearing screening, height and weight measurement, body mass index and blood pressure screenings. The volunteers had opportunity to professionally interact with Lisa Smith, M.D., and Herbert Goldwire, M.S.N., ARNP-BC, as well as with children, teenagers and adults.

The Beta Lambda chapter organizes and participates in various community services throughout the year.
