NSU’s Online Master of Science in Nursing Program Ranked Among Top 50 in Nation

Online-MSN-Programs-of-2015webThe Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) Program at Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) College of Nursing was recently ranked in the Top 50 Best Value Online M.S.N. Programs of 2015 by Value Colleges.

The independent online publication, which provides information for prospective students considering the best value for their education, ranked NSU No. 44 out of the top 50 in the United States and the second highest in Florida.

In developing the list, Value Colleges required that programs be accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. Other criteria included:

“NSU is proud to be ranked among the best Master of Science in Nursing programs in the nation,” said Marcella M. Rutherford, Ph.D., M.B.A., M.S.N., dean, NSU’s College of Nursing. “Through this degree program, we offer working nurses an opportunity to advance their careers in a clinical and non-clinical direction through the convenience of an online curriculum.”

The M.S.N. program offers non-clinical tracks in nursing education, health system leadership and nursing informatics, as well as clinical tracks in family nurse practitioner and gerontology-adult acute care nurse practitioner. NSU’s College of Nursing also offers a R.N. to M.S.N. program to earn both the Bachelor of Science and M.S.N. consecutively.
