Pharmacy Students Participate in Habitat for Humanity
On Saturday, Jan. 26, faculty and students from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Pharmacy (COP), Palm Beach Student Educational Center (SEC) program, participated in a community service event for Habitat for Humanity in Lake Worth. The 27 students who attended the event are members of the Alpha Zeta Omega (AZO) pharmacy fraternity and were supported by COP faculty members, Feroza Sircar-Ramsewak, Pharm.D., instructor/academic facilitator; and Michael Gillette, Pharm.D., assistant professor. The students and faculty worked with the Habitat for Humanity, Lake Worth Project, painting the interiors of the houses currently under construction in Lake Worth, Florida.
