Pharmacy Student Completes CVS Intern Training Program

David Bornstein, R.Ph., CVS district; Tiffany DeGroot, CVS Intern Program Manager; Adam Fox, NSU COP Student; and Cristina Medina, Pharm.D., NSU COP Alumnus and CVS Manager of Professional and College Relations

NSU College of Pharmacy (COP) student Adam Fox, P3, Palm Beach Campus, completed a CVS pilot Intern Training Program this past summer. The advanced internship program focuses on preparing students to: 1) participate in defined key experiences in the areas of customer service, patient care, business management, operations and team development; 2) take their academic experience to the next level, practicing leadership skills; and 3) make a connection to the CVS purpose and strategy in order to advance the organization and the pharmacy profession. Fox was recognized by CVS for successfully completing the program during his exposure to multiple areas of the CVS field management role.
