Pharmacy Student awarded First Place in Poster Presentation at Florida Pharmacy Association Convention
Pharmacy student Mohammed Imam, winner of poster presentation
Post-Bac Pharm.D., Pharmacy student, Mohammed Imam, Class of 2011, was awarded 1st place in the Poster Presentation: Efficacy of Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.12% Oral Rinse in the Reduction of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) at the Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) 121st Annual Meeting and Convention. Under the guidance of faculty mentors, Alexándra Pérez and Nile Khanfer, the poster was showcased to over 400 attendees on June 24 at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura. The poster presentation was a requirement toward completing his Post-Bac Pharm.D. curriculum.
