Pharmacy Alum Wins Poster Competition at Florida Pharmacy Association Annual Meeting & Convention




NSU pharmacy post-baccalaureate Pharm.D student Mohammed Imam took 1st Place at a poster presentation.




Post-baccalaureate Pharm.D. pharmacy student, Mohammed Imam, NSU College of Pharmacy Class of 2011, was awarded the 1st place in the Poster Presentation: Efficacy of Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.12% Oral Rinse in the Reduction of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) at the Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) 121st Annual Meeting and Convention.  Under the guidance of faculty mentors, Alexándra Pérez, Pharm.D., and Nile Khanfer, Pharm. D., the poster was showcased to over 400 attendees on June 24 at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Aventura.   The poster presentation was a requirement toward completing Imam’s Post-Bac Pharm.D. curriculum.
