Parkland Strong, NSU Support and Debrief
After the recent shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, you, or someone you know may be trying to understand why the shooting occurred, and why something this horrible would happen. There may never be any answers that logically or emotionally make sense. However, it is normal for persons to experience various emotions following a traumatic event such as this one. Even if you were not directly impacted by the shooting, you may feel shock, sadness, numbness, fear, anger, grief, just to name a few. This impact may also extend to individuals who live outside the affected area and may not have any personal connection to the event.
On Wednesday, March 14 at Carl DeSantis Building, Room 1048 at 5:00 p.m., come and join experts in the field, and Open Expressions for an open and honest conversation about these lingering thoughts. Together we can pave a way forward.
Refreshments will be provided.
