Palm Wins SSC Individual Championship; Women’s Cross Country Takes Second Overall
Nova Southeastern women’s cross country runner Alexandria Palm (Jr., Winnebago, Ill.) won the Sunshine State Conference’s Individual Championship on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the UCF Cross Country Complex. The Sharks claimed second place overall at the event.
Palm became the first runner in NSU history to win the individual conference title, breaking the streak of recent dominance by Tampa, which won this year’s team title.
“She has done something that no other cross country runner in NSU history has done,” said head coach Bryan Hagopian. “Her teammates, men and women, were so excited for her. The energy from them at this meet was incredible.”
