Second-year College of Osteopathic Medicine students wasted no time supporting the We Stand with Haiti relief effort after the island nation suffered catastrophic damage from Hurricane Matthew. On the first weekend after the storm, students went to Miami and volunteered to help collect and organize donations for Haiti.

The collection site in Miami Gardens serves the joint effort of more than 20 charitable organizations in accepting monetary, medical, first aid, building, and construction donations, as well as clothing, shoes, and baby supplies. Those interested in supporting the effort can contact mandodo.org/donate or sandydorsainvil@gmail.com
