Ortiz Garners Second Team All-SSC Honors

Junior Daniela Ortiz received her third All-Sunshine State Conference selection this year at NSU, earning second-team honors as voted on by the coaches and announced by the conference office on Wednesday, April 23.
Ortiz (Morelia, Mexico), who was a first-team honoree as a freshman and sophomore, and was 2012 SSC Freshman of the Year, leads the Shark women with a 76.07 scoring average this year. She has a team-high six top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at October’s Dennis Rose Invitational. Complete Release
