Optometry graduate among recipients of Southern Council of Optometrists Clinical Excellence Awards
NSU College of Optometry graduate Nicole Psaltis (2010), was among the three optometry students to be recognized by the South East Council of Optometry (SECO) International. Psaltis received the 2010 Southern Council of Optometrists Clinical Excellence Award, which recognizes academic achievements by students from SECO-affiliated colleges. Psaltis received the award along with a student from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry; and another from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Each recipient was presented a $1,000 check and a plaque during her school’s awards ceremony in the spring 2010.
SECO International has recognized outstanding optometry students through its annual Southern Council of Optometrists Clinical Excellence Awards since 1993.
