OIIT IZone Team Presents at 2013 Blackboard World Conference
NSU’s OIIT IZone team, Deborah Seepersaud (Manager of Technology Training Services), Loy Campbell (ManagerofInstructional Design), Elizaveta Drakunova (Faculty Trainer), and Shayna Cargill-Dominguez (Faculty Trainer) presented at the 2013 Blackboard World Conference on July 11. The topic, “Empowering faculty to manage massive online courses with Blackboard Learn Release 9.1” was well received by the audience and generated a lively discussion. The presentation highlighted challenges faced by both instructors and students in a Massive Online Course and concentrated on preserving the small-classroom atmosphere while maximizing interaction and applying design strategies in courses with over100 students.
