OI2T Team Participate in 2013 Egg Hunt Duathlon

Three members of the OI2T (Office of Innovation and Information Technology) team recently participated in the 2013 Egg Hunt Duathlon held at CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines on Saturday, March 30. The Duathlon consisted of a 1.5 mile run, followed by an 11 mile bike portion, followed by another 1.5 mile run.
The participants included Carlos Dejesus, IT Security Analyst, Laraine Mittleman, Executive Director of the Project Management Office, and John Christly, Information Security Officer. This was the first time Carlos and Laraine participated in the event, and John’s second time participating. Laraine placed first in her age group, and John placed fourth in his age group.
They all are planning on participating in the event next year and they may also do the Inaugural Columbus Day Duathlon at CB Smith Park in October.
