Office of Academic Services Hosts Open House
The Office of Academic Services, part of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, hosted an Open House on March 19.
The Office of Academic Services, part of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, hosted an Open House on March 19, 2009. Staff members were on hand to answer questions about the office and also offered tours of the facilities for students and faculty.
The Office of Academic Services, located in the Parker Building, suite 100, provides a variety of amenities to undergraduate students. These include tutoring sessions, success coaching, study areas for reserve and academic CDs for checkout, computer rooms, solution manuals, APA and MLA guidebooks, grammar and study skills handouts, EyeQ speed-reading software, and testing for credit.
The Office of Academic Services is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
