Pride Bite: NSUWorks passes 172,000 Downloads around the World!

NSUWorksDid you know?

In February of 2014, NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library launched an institutional repository to collect, archive and disseminate scholarship and historical materials produced by the faculty, students, staff, and alumni of NSU. In one year NSUWorks, (http://nsuworks.nova.edu), has added over 6,000 items and on March 18, 2015 reached a second important milestone – over 100,000 downloads.

The news keeps getting better. As of July 28, 2015, NSUWorks currently has 9,419 items and boasts 172,784 downloads from around the world.

What is NSUWorks?

NSUWorks is a repository – an online, open access archive that currently includes faculty publications, theses/dissertations, collections from the NSU Archives, five journals, three conferences, and a myriad of other items related to the history and scope of NSU’s past and present. NSUWorks continues to grow daily and welcomes submissions, questions and the opportunity to collaborate on projects at nsuworks@nova.edu.
