NSU’s Veterans Resource Center Has New Student Coordinator
Bianca Thomas, an undergraduate nursing student who is also a U.S. Navy veteran, is the new student-coordinator for Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Veterans Resource Center.
Following four years of active duty as an information technician, stationed for a part of that time on the U.S.S. Blue Ridge LCC-Yokosuka, Japan, Bianca transitioned into the Navy Reserves in 2013. As the student coordinator of NSU’s Veterans Resource Center, Bianca will be at the center of the NSU veteran student community, in charge of connecting that community with available campus resources. The Veterans Resource Center is the operational heart of all military and veteran related information, resources, opportunities, and events. Our Veterans Resource Center is open seven days a week from 0700 to 2200 and is located on the second floor of the Rosenthal Building in Room 218.
If you are a veteran student attempting to navigate NSU’s academic and social landscapes and are looking for a support system, please contact Bianca at 954-262- FLAG (3524.)
