NSU’s Sherrelle Jordan Obtains Peach Belt Conference Track Athlete of the Week
Nova Southeastern University women’s track and field team grabs a consecutive Peach Belt Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week award, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, March 22. This time it was Sherrelle Jordan who took the spotlight for the Sharks.
Junior track athlete Sherrelle Jordan was awarded the second Peach Belt Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week of 2016 for her impressive speed at the Hurricane Invitational in Miami, Florida the past Saturday, March 19. Jordan set a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA National Championship in the 100-meter hurdles with a mark of 13.80. She also placed second overall in this event.
NSU men’s and women’s track and field team will resume competition on Friday, March 25 at the UCF Invitational in Orlando, Fla.
