ABOUT THE 2014 ENTREPRENEUR HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

Manuel D. Medina is the founding and managing partner of Medina Capital, a high-growth private equity firm focused on the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity markets. Prior to the formation of Medina Capital and the Technology Foundation of the Americas, Medina was the founder, chairman of the board and CEO of Terremark Worldwide, Inc., a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ exchange until April of 2011 when Terremark was acquired by Verizon Communications, Inc.  Established in 1980, Medina successfully led the company from its beginnings in real estate development, to its emergence as a global leader in the IT infrastructure sector providing services for Fortune 500 enterprises and federal government agencies.

James Donnelly is founder and chief executive officer of the Castle Group, one of the most successful property services firms in the community association industry, specializing in serving condominium and homeowners associations throughout Florida. The Castle Group is a full-service company providing customized property-related solutions including property and rental management, financial and accounting systems, and a broad spectrum of offerings from developer and web services to lifestyles and concierge services.  Donnelly is a licensed community association manager and a licensed general contractor with more than 25 years of experience serving community associations.

Guy Harvey, Ph.D., is a unique blend of artist, scientist, diver, angler, conservationist, and explorer.  His first autobiography, Portraits From The Deep, debuted in 2004 as a made-for-television fishing series. The documentary This is Your Ocean: Sharks, premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2011.  Harvey’s murals grace locations such as the Don Taft University Center at NSU, the Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport, the Owen Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman, and the Surf Style parking garage and swim shop in Clearwater Beach, Fla.  The Guy Harvey Research Institute was established in 1999 with a mission to provide the scientific information necessary to understand, conserve and effectively manage the world’s marine fishes and their ecosystems.  In 2008, the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation was established to fund leading scientists.
