“Always put the customer first and deliver the best possible quality in both food and service” will be the topic for the next Distinguished Lecture Series to be presented by the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship on Wednesday, March 15, from 6-8 p.m. in the Carl DeSantis Building, Room 3000.

Distinguished guest lecturer Angelo Elia will share his insight as a chef and restaurateur whose dining establishments include three Casa D’Angelo restaurants and small-plate Italian eateries. His establishments have garnered him awards for Zagat’s America’s Top Restaurants, 15 consecutive wins for Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence, and placement on the 100 Best Wine Restaurants in 2012.

Passionate about entrepreneurship and creating a quality experience for consumers, Elia traveled to Sardinia in 2012 to learn how to create a better environment at his restaurants. His entrepreneurship and dedication to creating successful four-star restaurants led to him receiving NSU’s Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame award in 2016.
