NSU’s Huizenga Business School Student Receives Communis Creative Marketing Professional Scholarship
Stephanie Zehner, a graduate student enrolled in the Huizenga Business School’s Master of Science in Leadership program, is the first recipient of a $1,000 Marketing Professional Scholarship award from Communis Creative, a full-service video production and communications agency.
Rhonda Ritchie-Aslaksen, founder and president of Communis Creative, established the scholarship to support marketing professionals, contributing $5,000 to the Huizenga Business School to fund and launch the annual scholarship award.
Ritchie-Aslaksen is an award-winning writer / producer and creative director with more than 2 decades of production experience. Communis Creative, based in the trendy Himmarshee district of downtown Fort Lauderdale, works with a range of clients – from universities, non-profits and communication giants to health care, retail and automotive to produce a diverse range of media projects.
To be considered for the annual $1,000 award, applicants must be enrolled at the Huizenga Business School and be in good academic standing. Scholarship requirements consider both academic achievement and student involvement.
