NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences to host Presentation on Technology & Innovation, Dec. 13

NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) will welcome NSU alumnus C.S. Park, D.B.A., on Friday, Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the Carl DeSantis Building, room 3035. During his presentation, “Technology and Innovation for Growth,” Park will discuss various issues facing companies and countries today as the new digital economy threatens to widen performance gaps due to the accelerated pace of technological innovation.

Park earned his B.A., from Yonsei University, Seoul Korea, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and his D.B.A., from NSU. He has held leadership positions in global technology firms as Chairman and CEO of Hynix Semiconductor Inc., as well as Maxtor Corporation. He currently serves as Lead Independent Director of Seagate Technology, and is a board member of Computer Sciences Corporation. Park also serves on the Global Board of DLA Piper, one of the largest global law firms, and as a Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group.
