NSU’s Fischler College of Education Features Elective – GPS for Life: The Course That Has Knocked NSU Off its Feet
After years of hard work, determination, and a mindset of commitment, My Life My Power CEO, WWE’s 1,000,000 Tough Enough Winner, and Undefeated MMA Fighter, Daniel Puder, was able to introduce his transformational technologies to Nova Southeastern University. Since then, this union between Puder and NSU has created a movement of increased retention, as well as the development of goal and vision oriented mindsets throughout campus.
My Life My Power implemented their course, GPS for Life, in the winter of 2016. It is now an undergraduate elective course in NSU’s Fischler College of Education. The class has been instructed four times now, touching the lives of nearly 100 students. Outside of the classroom, My Life My Power has worked with NSU Sharks Athletics to make an impact on both the athletes and coaches, supporting them with focus and personal goal setting in their sport.
Since its implementation, GPS for Life has become a wildly popular course among students at the university. My Life My Power has not just brought a new class to campus, but rather, an entire movement. The course has dramatically increased retention within the university through its impactful teachings.
Additionally, students have cited the course’s transformational technologies in adjusting their mindset, actions, and thought processes to serve their overall vision. This course has proven to be all about taking you where you are and bringing you where you want to be.
Weekly guest speakers, such as Anna Fusco, President of the Broward Teacher’s Union; Hugo Barrera, U.S. Department of Justice Special Agent; and others, provide students with an opportunity to connect and network with some of Florida’s most influential people.
My Life My Power is changing lives, saving lives, and creating the platforms for incredible processes and products to occur.
Those interested in the program and would like more information should contact Kimberly Durham, Psy.D., Interim Dean, NSU Fischler College of Education via phone (954-262-8601).
